My brother Jeff had an unexpected medical emergency. He is in the neurotrauma icu in Portland. My family has all flown to be by his side while he fights to come back to us. Many friends and family have asked what they can do. While we don't really have answers for that question it was suggested by the staff here to make a space for people who wish to help with meals or lodging or whatever his husband and mom will need for their long stay here with him as he fights. We appreciate all of you and would really like to ask that you keep him in your thoughts for a full and speedy recovery as we all truly believe in the power of community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. He is loved more than he ever knew and we will show him when he wakes.
