Jeffrey Kavanagh is one of the best people you’ll ever meet. He has a heart of pure gold.

He is a proud native of Charleville, Co. Cork but has made Crusheen, Co. Clare his home for the last number of years and is firmly settled in this lovely village with his children attending the local school.

He’s an unbelievable friend, an amazing father to 3 kids, and a devoted partner to Liene. At work, he’s the kind of colleague everyone wants on their team — respected, reliable, and always the first to help out. In the telecoms industry, he’s built a reputation for being hardworking and genuine.

Right now, Jeffrey needs that same support he’s always given others.

Jeffrey’s story

For months, Jeffrey had stomach pains. His blood tests came back normal, so doctors thought it was an ulcer and treated him with antibiotics and painkillers. He pushed through, even going on a family holiday so his kids wouldn’t miss out.

But when he got home, he knew something wasn’t right. He went straight to University Hospital Galway, and after a few days of tests, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

Since then, life has changed overnight. Between constant hospital trips, medical bills, and time away from work, the financial pressure is building fast for Jeffrey and Liene as they focus on caring for their 3 kids.

Why we’re asking for help

We’ve set up this fundraiser to take some of that weight off their shoulders. Every donation will go toward:

Medical bills and treatment costs

Travel to and from hospital appointments

Supporting Jeffrey’s family with day-to-day bills while he’s unable to work

Jeffrey’s fighting this with incredible strength and positivity, but he shouldn’t have to fight the financial side alone.
