Help Jeffrey Get Back on His Feet (Literally!)

Hey all. As some of you may be aware, as a continuation of some of the health issues he’s faced, Jeffrey had to have a hip replacement in September of 2024. Unfortunately Jeffrey experienced complications with the hip replacement recently, and as of April 2025 it needed to be removed due to an infection in his femur. It was replaced with a temporary spacer and he has been on IV antibiotics since. He is currently at a nursing facility in Arden just south of Asheville so he can receive his various treatments and physical therapy in a medically supervised setting, and will remain there for the foreseeable future. Once the infection has been eliminated, he will go back for the second hip replacement and again continue his recovery journey. Due to the pain and mobility limitations, Jeffrey has been unable to work for several months. He is in the process of applying for various forms of assistance, but in the meantime, he needs a little help making ends meet and ensuring his health insurance stays current in the midst of all the medical costs. You’ve been so gracious to help us out in the past when Jeffrey’s health has thrown challenges our way. If you can chip in to help him make ends meet, we would greatly appreciate it.
