Hi, my name is Jefferson, but most people call me Jeff. I came to this country in 2023 with hopes, dreams, and goals for a better future. Starting over from nothing has been incredibly challenging, especially while continuing to support my family back home. I’ve worked hard to do everything the right way and remain here legally, as the situation in Venezuela is extremely difficult.

I’m reaching out for support during one of the hardest moments of my life. Recently, I was detained by ICE, and this situation has created overwhelming emotional and financial challenges for me and my loved ones. I am working hard to fight my case and reunite with my family, but the legal process is complex and extremely costly.

I created this GoFundMe to help cover the urgent expenses related to my situation, including court fees, attorney costs, documents, transportation, and other legal arrangements I need in order to continue my case and move toward stability and safety. Every step requires resources that I simply do not have right now.

Asking for help is never easy, but I am doing everything I can to stay strong and keep moving forward. Any contribution — no matter how small — will make a real difference and bring me one step closer to resolving my case. Even sharing this page helps more than you know.
