Jeffrey Vanwinkle is a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He is one of the most kind human beings. He is generous, genuine, and fills the room with a smile no matter where he is .
Unfortunately, nearly five years ago, Jeff was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. To make matters worse, his cancer has spread to multiple other areas in his body making the treatment and prognosis increasingly more complicated.
Since being diagnosed, Jeff has under gone surgery to remove a large tumor in his colon that left him with a permanent colostomy bag. He has continued chemotherapy occurring every 2-3 weeks through the past 5 years.
We have been blessed that these treatments have been covered by his insurance up to this point . Unfortunately, the most resent scans indicate that these treatment are no longer effective.
After extensive research, we are currently exploring multiple alternative treatments in Mexico such as stem cell transplants, enzyme therapy, supplements, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ozone therapy, hyperthermia sessions, high dose IV vitamin C, keto for cancer diet, and several other unconventional and out of the box treatments. These treatments will help maintain Jeffs quality of life while effectively building his immune system and attempting to shrink the Cancer Tumors. Many times, even patients with advanced, stage-4 cancer, or those who have been told they have no other treatment options, find success with these alternative therapy programs.
Unfortunately, these supplemental therapies are not covered by insurance and come with a price.
Receiving these therapies will require travel to Mexico for an extended stay and approximately $25,000 out of pocket expense for treatment, travel, and lodging per treatment.
Jeff has already beat the odds with his prognosis and we are expecting him to continue beating these odds. We are leaving no stones unturned in order to prolong his life and to give him the best quality of life possible.
All this being said - Let us help this otherwise healthy 52 year old loving father of five obtain the treatment needed to extend his life expectancy or potentially even CURE him.
Regardless of what life has handed him, Jeff has remained positive and for that he has a way of touching everyone around him in a positive way.
Together we can make a difference and are hopeful about this treatments’ success. We are approaching year five of an original two year prognosis and Jeff has a lot of life left in him, and so much more to share with those around him! Please help us give him that chance
Sincerely, Chelsi Clayton (daughter).
