Help Jeff Recover From Another Disaster

If you've found yourself on this page, then you probably know my father, Jeffrey Stuebner, and you're wanting to help him out.

My name is Lisa. I have created this page to support my father, Jeff, who has suffered yet again another awful event in life. Back in 2017, Jeff was living his best life alongside the love of his life, Leigh. They decided to purchase a home together in Florida and were blessed to find the perfect home a few houses off the Gulf. They were so excited for a future together in Florida; however, as we all know, that future never happened when Leigh passed away in 2018.

Jeff has continued the life he planned with Leigh and has tried to enjoy his time in their Florida home. But last year, in September 2023, Hurricane Idalia caused damage to their home. Jeff had about a foot of water in his house, but he recovered, replaced his drywall and damaged furniture, and got his kitchen remodeled.

Now fast forward to September 2024. Hurricane Helene has destroyed everything he had done last year to recover from Idalia, and all of the contents within his home. Insurance will pay to fix the house, but all contents within the home are destroyed. The water was at least 4 feet deep in his home. Look around the room you're in right now and take notice of your light switches. Imagine water in your home up to your light switches, and see what belongings you currently have at that same level or lower. That's everything my father lost.

Jeff is not someone to ever ask for help, and I'm sure I'll get yelled at for creating this page for him! But, my father is constantly helping others, so I want to do my part and try to help him as best I can. Although he keeps saying, "It's just stuff; it's replaceable," I can tell in his voice he is upset and hurt. This is the 2nd year in a row he can't enjoy the life he's been dreaming of in his Florida home.

I am only looking to raise some funds to help Jeff financially to replace the contents of his home. Any help is appreciated! My three sisters and I love our father so much and could not have asked for a better father in life. We know he is loved by so many people. Let's come together and show him just how much he is loved!
