My name is Jeffrey Alan Nuttall, and I am raising funds for myself as I work to rebuild my life after 5 years in federal prison and more than 17 years of active addiction. While I was incarcerated, I found sobriety and a higher power, and that changed everything for me. Today, I choose every day to live with purpose, meaning, gratitude, and a clearer mind. Prison was a struggle, but it was also the wake-up call I needed to realize the life I had been living was not the life I wanted anymore. I know there will always be problems in life, but now I am trying to make good choices and have better problems as I move forward.

I have recently been hired, and I am doing everything I can to make a healthy and stable transition back into society. The support from this fundraiser will help me with basic needs like toiletries, a gym membership so I can stay committed to my physical health, and appropriate clothing for my new job. Most importantly, I am hoping to purchase a vehicle and cover the related costs like taxes, plates, and insurance so I can have reliable transportation. Any additional help will go toward making a home more comfortable when I am able to move out of the halfway house.
