Help Jeff Pyle Fight Metastatic Melanoma

Donation protected
On November 12, 2021, we lost an amazing soul tragically to cancer. Jeff was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son and friend. Jeff leaves behind his wife Marisa and three girls, Madison, Briley and Kennedy. The Pyle family is now faced with the unimaginable task of carrying on without their beloved partner and father. In his honor, we are asking for financial assistance of any amount. They will have many medical bills to coincide with their loss of income. It is our hope that any help received may take some of the burden off of Marisa, and offer support in all ways of healing after the loss of such a tremendous man.

……………………….

You have cancer.” It’s a phrase no one wants to hear. Unfortunately, Jeff along with family had to hear these words. Jeff has been diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma Cancer.

It all started back in February 2021, he heard those words but more to the tune of “…the mole on your left arm that was biopsied by Harvard has come back as Stage 2 Melanoma. We will have to have surgically remove it, then have a PET scan to make sure the melanoma is not present throughout the body.”

The scan came back clear, leaving Jeff to be an official survivor of Melanoma. Fast forward to September 2021, Jeff has been feeling achey, tired, and having a lot of pain throughout his bones. At first, we thought it was COVID or possibly fibromyalgia. Jeff has been feeling bad for the last two months, leading him to set an appointment with his doctor.

The doctor did a blood test and instantly noticed that his white blood count was very high. The doctor referred Jeff back to his oncologist. Then, Jeff completed a CAT scan because we all know insurance doesn’t want to pay for a second PET scan.  The results came back and shows metastatic melanoma cancer in multiple areas. He has lesions on his lungs, hip bone, abdomen and specifically his liver. Keep in mind, none of this was present back in February 2021.

Currently, Jeff and Marisa are trying to get to Duke University for treatment of his Melanoma. He’s also in a lot of pain from the lesion on his hip bone which could result in a bone break. Jeff has been referred to an orthopedic oncologist in Jackson, Mississippi. He has started some pain medication to start managing his severe pain. Jeff is very positive about his treatment plan as well as his family and friends. We are aggressively moving forward to not waste any time.

Please pray in agreement with us for COMPLETE healing. We are starting a Gofundme to help with the medical costs because cancer treatment is EXPENSIVE. Also, we want to help offset the cost for his wife and daughters as they will have additional expenses to occur. Please donate if you feel led to. We appreciate all the prayers! God Bless everyone who reads Jeff’s journey. ❤️

“Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
