Jeff has worked at Ghostly International (now a part of the Secretly Group) for 17 years and has run his own label, Felte, for a decade. In that time, he has worked tirelessly to help artists (School of Seven Bells, Matthew Dear, Gold Panda, HTRK, Choir of Young Believers, Ritual Howls, Ganser, Public Memory ... to name just a few) bring their releases into the world, and has been a beacon of knowledge and encouragement to those around him - as anyone who has ever worked with him over the years can attest.

This past year, Jeff has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully, it has been caught fairly early. The tumor was in Stage I (Low-risk) / Stage IIA (Intermediate-risk) when a biopsy took place.

Jeff is being treated with what is called proton therapy. Although Jeff has full insurance benefits, many insurance companies don’t offer coverage for this treatment. He hopes to be an advocate for proton therapy and that more insurance companies will cover this cancer treatment given its high cure rate, reduced side effects and improved outcomes.

To receive the treatment he needs, he has also had to travel from the Los Angeles area to San Diego for a 6 to 8 week stay for the treatment. Jeff is married and has a one year old, Evren, that his wife, Jane, is taking care of full time while he stays in San Diego for treatment.

All of the funds we raise will be put towards the cost of the treatment itself, travel and accommodations in San Diego, meals, and medications.
