Hey y'all, I'm reaching out because I've fallen on some hard times financially. I haven't wanted to do this but I'm at a point where I have to. In March of '23, I had hernia repair surgery. Though I had insurance through work, the cost and time off I had to take, along with miscellaneous bills, took my savings. Because of some rough recovery time, I took a lot of time off work past PTO without pay. The recovery issues led to some surprising mental health issues with PTSD from my years of alcoholism. I sought out TMS therapy, which also added to costs. During this time, after completing TMS, my work situation was increasingly getting worse, so I made the decision to resign to keep up with my mental health. For those that have known me for a while, I have had scoliosis since I was young. My misaligned spine was a major contributor to my hernia and other health issues. Though not insured anymore, I decided to take action on my scoliosis as it has been a concern my whole life. I am 3 months into a 5-month physical therapy and adjustment treatment to fix my spine. I now have marketplace insurance, but it does not cover the physical therapy/adjustments. I am now at a point where I can work again, but I could really use some help getting these bills cleared up so I can move forward positively. Thank you all so much for considering.
