Help Jeff nip cancer in the bud
Hello everyone it is with heavy heart that I make this post.
I am reaching out to anyone and everyone who is willing to help this is hard for me
because I try to never ask anyone for
anything because I was always taught to
work for anything I wanted but this is
something that I cannot do alone.
Last week my partner in life wasn’t
feeling well and with him being the
backbone to our family of 10 we decided to go to the doctors as we have six boys and
two girls ranging from ages 12 to 32 which we still have two daughters at home ages
12 and 15.
So we went to the doctors and they told us we need to get to the hospital as soon as
possible because Jeff’s oxygen levels were
low and his blood pressure was
high so we went to the emergency room.
They started doing tests and found
swelling in his brain and after many more
tests They informed us that Jeff had stage
four squamous cell carcinoma in the lungs
and that it had spread to his brain. So their treatment plan was to start steroids for the swelling in the brain so that they could get
the swelling down and start brain radiation which he will do a series of 10 and has done five already so that the Brain can go into
remission then we will start the
chemotherapy for the lungs but this
But this is where our dilemma lies
Jeff was forced into early retirement
because he couldn’t physically pass the test from his employer therefore he had to
retire before the age of 65 so he doesn’t
get Medicare and his retirement is $200
more than the state limit allows you to get state coverage. I bought Jeff an in between
policy until he reached age 65 so he
could see a doctor if he ever needed too
which does not cover chronic illness as we had no idea that Jeff was sick.
So the insurance policy that we have told
the hospital that if they release Jeff they
will not be footing the bill for him
anymore so the hospital has decided to
keep Jeff inside the hospital and
Transport him to and from the md
Anderson cancer center so that he could
have these brain radiation treatments
This policy is a 70/30 policy and the
hospital bills are piling up But we will be
able
to get Jeff’s brain into remission. Once
released Jeff will need to do chemotherapy for the lungs at the outpatient MD
Anderson facility but chemo won’t start
unless Jeff Somehow gets insurance or on Medicare or a hefty down payment and that’s where this money will go as well as the
hospital bills that are already piling up and our home bills too Because I haven’t been able to work since this and my daughters are
home doing online school because Jeffs
immune system is compromised now.
Jeff has always taking care of our family
and now I need help taking care of Jeff so if you can please help us I know thing are
rough for everyone right now due to all
thats going on in our world today but if
you can please help our family help Jeff we would forever be grateful.
any and all donations will be graciously
excepted and if you can’t donate please
please share our fundraiser to anyone
and everyone I need my husband and my
children need their father as we would
all be lost without him so please help us
help Jeff kick cancer in the bud.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
for helping and donating and sharing my
post. I just don’t know what else to do to
save his life as I’ve reached out to many
organizations , news outlets to try and
get the help we need thank you for your
support
