Help Jeff Moore Overcome Heart Surgery Costs

Hi, I'm Bridget Reed, and I am here to help tell Jeff's story and why he needs help. Thursday July 25, 2024 while at work around 1pm the phone rings and it was Jeff informing me that he was at patient first near his work and being transported to St Mary's Hospital, for a heart attack. Upon arrival at the St Mary's, I found out he did indeed have a heart attack and was going to need a triple bypass surgery come Tuesday, July 30.

The surgery and recovery is going to place Jeff out of work for a long while. There will be bills that will have to be paid medically and this is where he has to set his pride aside to ask for help. Jeff is not one to ask for help but the time it is needed.

Jeff, has been a volunteer firefighter for Oaks Fire Company, formally Blackrock Fire Company since 2018. As a proud firefighter who loves servicing his community. He also enjoys spending time with his daughter, out on the water relaxing on a paddle board or fishing and also BBQing when the weather is nice.

The heart attack is going to not only take home away from work, the fire house, things he loves but it's also going to take away some freedom and independence. Jeff is a proud person who tries handling issues without help. With this being said he is going to need some help. He appreciates everyone who is willing to help. Update: Jeff went into surgery around 8:00-8:30 this morning and throughout the surgery we were getting updates about how it was going. All of the updates were positive however the waiting game was making those of us here a little stir crazy, but around 4:30 we finally got the call that he was out of surgery, and it went well. He is being moved to recovery and we will be able to see him as soon as he is settled into the room. However, he is still out from all of the meds and has the breathing tube in. The breathing tube is to be removed at some point later today as long as he is breathing on enough on his own. Thank you all again for all you are doing for Jeff. It does mean the world to him
