Jeff and Melissa McConnell have been going through some difficult financial times since he lost his position at San Carlos UMC in late September. Although Jeff has taken a delivery job, the income isn’t enough to meet their living expenses and music positions aren’t available during the pandemic.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. Jeff and his stepson, Matthew, are going to team drive semi-trucks. 17 days of training will begin late this month in San Bernardino with more training to follow locally after that. Jeff won’t see a paycheck from driving until late March or early April. In the meantime funds are needed for daily living expenses and repairs to a non-functioning furnace ((Baby it’s cold outside”).
