Help Jeff Manger and Family Get the Dementia Care He Needs
Donation protected
My dad, Jeff Manger (66y), is an incredible human. If you know him, you know he is a quiet, kind, hardworking man, who always puts his family first. Sadly he has recently experienced a rapid cognitive decline with early onset of Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s that has left our family devastated.
Since October 20th, my dad has been hospitalized trying to regulate his sleep wake cycle and determine the cause for his cognitive decline and agitation. He has experienced a transfer to a different hospital and multiple diagnostic tests to be told his diagnosis of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. During his hospitalization his cognitive abilities have severely declined needing assistance with all daily living activities and not being able to advocate for himself. Prior to his hospitalization he was working, driving, reffing, enjoying bowling, and most importantly knew and loved his family deeply. As a family we worked with the hospital to recently find a facility that can provide the level of care he needs long term.
Not only has this been emotionally devastating but scary financially trying to figure out how to pay medical bills and for a long term care facility. My dad was hospitalized for almost 5 months and continues to need a very high level of care at the new care facility.
Any funds donated will go towards paying medical bills and the cost of the care at his assisted living facility. We want to acknowledge and show our appreciation to our friends and family who have already contributed in any way. Your love and support is felt and we are so grateful. We are trying to reach a wider net in our community of people who may know and love my dad (Jeff) and want to contribute.
Thank you for reading and we appreciate any and all prayers for Jeff and my family ♥️
