Help Jeff Makeiff

Several years ago, Jeff Makeiff’s life changed irreversibly when he suffered a stroke, which was the result of an inoperable brain tumour. The ultimate diagnosis for the tumour is terminal, and he never did regain the use of his left side. Fortunately, not only has Jeff far outlasted his prognosis but his tumour continues to remain stable. Despite his limited mobility and the fact that he now lives in an assisted-care facility, Jeff has continued to remain positive and make the best of his situation. This show of grace is not at all surprising to those of us who know him. Jeff is one of the most inspiring, intelligent, wise and socially engaged humans we know.

Because Jeff has been unable to work for many years and he’s far outlived his prognosis he’s now running low on funds, with little left over after covering his basic living expenses. Any contribution would enable Jeff to continue enjoying some independence and the small
