Help Jeff Linder on his road to recovery
Donation protected
My brother Jeff Linder, whom many of you know as a goofball, charismatic, busy, hardworking, loving and loyal Dad, Uncle, Brother, Son, and friend, was in a HORRIBLE work accident on January 15th, 2020. He is a family man that works(ed) 7 days a week to support his family, put food on the table, pay the bills, and make their home into the castle it has become. This accident is going to make that hard for him to do without help now.
Jeff was helping a friend hang sheet-rock in a stairwell. As he was passing a sheet to his friend above him, the scaffolding gave way and everything over his head came crashing down on him (friend, scaffolding, sheet-rock, and planks of wood) pinning him... crushing him!
Thank the Good Lord, Jeff was still here with us... however, that goes without saying that he took a beating that will entail a LONG road to recovery and not ever be 100% again. He was air lifted by Life Link to St. Mary's in Duluth, MN. His back and spinal cord sustained severe injuries.
Currently, Jeff is in the Neuro Trauma ICU and has a 5 hour surgery scheduled for Monday, January 20th in hopes of repairing his vertebrates #2-7.
Jeff supports 3 children and a wife, financially and emotionally. This accident is devastating for their future and without help, he will not be able to continue to support his family and keep the house that they have worked so hard for, and that does not even account for everything else they have.
This Go Fund Me is to help my brother continue his life as he has been while he works on his recovery and not have to stress over the financials and keep supporting his family, food on the table, the house they made a home, and all the future needs of his recovery, without the addition of feeling crippled financially because of this accident.
When they say "anything helps" its because anything really does help. Big or small... if you can help my brother, please... please do. We would all be so gracious and thankful for your help during this time.
I will update when new things/news/surgeries happen. I appreciate you reading and looking ... even if all you can do to help is "share" that is still huge. Thank you so much !!! Praise God for keeping him here with us.
