On the morning of January 3, 2026, Jeff and his wife KatieLynn’s lives changed in an instant. Their smoke alarm went off early Saturday, alerting them to a fire that had started in the garage. The flames spread rapidly, and while KatieLynn was able to escape safely, Jeff was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. Thankfully, he was discharged on Monday and is now recovering.
The fire caused a total loss of their home and car, and left significant smoke damage throughout the house. The Red Cross has stepped in to help them find temporary housing, but Jeff and KatieLynn are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over with very little. They lost not only their home, but also their belongings and the comfort of daily life.
We are reaching out to our community for help as Jeff and KatieLynn work to rebuild. Your support will help them replace essentials, clothing, provide care for their pet, and cover temporary housing costs. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Your prayers and support mean the world as they begin to recover and rebuild.
