Help Jeff get a life back.

Hello, my name is Jim. I've started this fundraiser on behalf of my brother Jeff Roecker, who lives in the Western New York area. Jeff has suffered from three separate heart attacks in the past few years and is a diabetic. As a result of his diabetes, Jeff has had his toes removed on both feet. Unfortunately, the doctors could not contain the infection in his feet, and he had to undergo an amputation on one leg from just below the knee.
Jeff is currently in the hospital recovering successfully from the surgery and receiving Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. He will eventually be fitted for a prosthesis and special shoes, and physical therapy and Occupational Therapy will ultimately continue at home.
For Jeff to return home and be able to function, many modifications to his house will be required to accommodate his newest disability. Opening doorways, installing grip bars, and other medical equipment will be needed for the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. But, for starters, he will need a wheelchair ramp to get in and out of doctor appointments. Upon his return, Jeff's wife will be caring for him, and sadly, she is going through cancer treatments herself.
With all that being said, they have already incurred astronomical medical bills, with many additional expenses coming to modify the house. The cost of all this is overwhelming and a stressful burden in Jeff's recovery.
If you could find it in your heart to give something, it would undoubtedly help. I have set a goal of $20,000 as we still don't know what the costs of the modifications will be, and they are in extreme medical debt already.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
