I'm really trying to finish my PhD without trying to take another crappy hourly job (especially now that the economy is tanking and having ASD, there are many jobs I'm not very suited to).
My research is on the possibility of using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation as an autism research tool and possibly a therapeutic modality. There are lots of psychological and ethical issues to discuss, which is why I am excited about this project and hope to be done within 2 years, give or take. Working uninterruptedly until I finish would be a big help, as that way I can be sure I'll stay on task.
There were some big obstacles, especially involving mom's dementia, that are mostly behind me now.
A little bit of money for books and other living expenses is appreciated. I'm not trying to live luxuriously, just trying not to be broke and begging my family for money all the time.
