Help Jeff Fight Terminal Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, neighbors, and compassionate strangers,
With hearts full of sorrow but clinging to hope, we ask for your prayers and support for a man who has always given so much—Jeff Emery, a loving husband, a cherished friend, and a quiet servant of his community—who is now in the fight of his life.
Just days ago, on April 28th, Jeff underwent emergency brain surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to remove a tumor the size of a clementine. The diagnosis: terminal glioblastoma—an aggressive, relentless form of brain cancer that offers no cure, only the chance to fight for more time.
The MRI after surgery brought a glimmer of hope: no visible signs of the tumor. But doctors warn that this cancer has a 90% chance of returning. Jeff now faces grueling chemotherapy and radiation in hopes of slowing its return, but first Jeff must be transferred to a rehabilitation center to regain the strength and mobility the tumor took from him. Tragically, his insurance has denied coverage for the rehabilitation he urgently needs.
And so we are here—humbly and prayerfully—asking for your help.
Jeff is unable to work. His devoted wife, Selena, has not left his side, missing many days of work to support him both physically and emotionally. Selena plans to return to work once Jeff completes rehab and is strong enough to manage his basic needs without assistance. Together, they are facing not only a terrifying medical journey, but also an avalanche of financial hardship:
• A $20,000 medical insurance deductible
• Loss of both incomes
• A mortgage they’re struggling to pay
• Gas, food, travel, and the everyday costs of simply trying to survive
They are exhausted. Overwhelmed. Afraid.
In a time like this, no family should have to worry about keeping a roof over their heads. Yet here they are, trying to fight cancer—and keep their home.
But Jeff and Selena have never walked away when others were in need. Through Selena’s grandson Ryker’s “Pawsome Box Adventure,” they’ve helped thousands of animals across New England, showing up for shelters, rescues, and countless lives in quiet, meaningful ways. They’ve lived a life of giving.
Now, they need someone to give to them.
One of Jeff’s greatest hopes is to regain the strength to ride his motorcycle again in the many charity events he loves—a small piece of joy, freedom, and purpose that cancer hasn’t taken away yet.
Please help us show Jeff and Selena that they are not alone—that God works through His people, and that compassion is alive and well in this world.
How you can help:
• Donate: No amount is too small. Every gift is a blessing.
• Share: Spread Jeff’s story far and wide.
• Pray: Lift Jeff and Selena in your prayers for healing, strength, and peace.
• Bring a meal when Jeff returns home (he’s not a fan of zucchini, squash, or eggplant—and he’ll tell you that with a smile. Stick with hearty comfort food; he needs strength.)
Let’s surround this family with the same love and grace they’ve poured into the world. Let’s keep Jeff and Selena in their home. Let’s help him heal. Let’s remind him—and each other—that hope is real and love never fails.
