Hello world, I’m Katherine. Most of you growing up knew me as Kathy , or Jeffs sister! Jeff and I were womb-mates, twins, best friends since we were born, and have ALWAYS been close. On behalf of my entire family, our mother and father Christine & John , we are looking for help…

Over the past 6 weeks Jeff has suffered some serious health & mental issues that ended with a 3 separate hospital stays including an almost full month in the ICU at Northside Hospital Gwinnett where he is currently….. This included Rhabdomyolysis, which is the break down of the muscles that then caused kidney failure & several dialysis treatments and blood clots. He has had to slowly learn how to walk and function again, and obtain all of this care with no insurance…. After some rehabilitation in the hospital and several scans and tests later, he was most recently diagnosed with a rare brain damage from the trauma, called Leukoencephalopathy. This damage affects the central nervous system.

Our family has been blind-sighted with overwhelming decisions and tasks to get Jeff the help he needs and deserves. We are not able OR certified to take care of someone full time with this type of brain damage, so we are looking for donations from friends and family to help us get him into a facility or nursing home where he CAN get the care he needs.

We ask not only for financial help but prayers for guidance and strength as we navigate through the unknown. We appreciate all who have already reached out.. and we decided to make this fundraiser to make any donations and help a smoother process.
