Jeff has been experiencing a range of symptoms, including dizziness, difficulty breathing, and increasing weakness, over the past several weeks. His inability to keep any food or liquids down led us to seek immediate medical attention at the hospital on Saturday morning. Upon admission, his hemoglobin level was found to be alarmingly low at 2.9, far below the normal range of 14 and the threshold for concern at 7. As a result, he was admitted to the ICU and received four units of blood.

By Sunday, his condition had improved for him to be transferred to a regular hospital room. Despite undergoing several diagnostic procedures, the cause of his critically low hemoglobin remains unknown. Fortunately, Jeff was able to return home today, and we are currently awaiting further test results to determine the best course of action, which may include additional blood transfusions.

Unfortunately, he has not been able to work and medical bills only add to the stress. Any amount donated is appreciated.
