Update:

Jeff and his kids were able to move back into their apartment on February 1st but they still have to replace everything.

I've created this GoFundMe on behalf of Jeff Brister.

Last night, in an unexpected and unfortunate event, Jeff and his family's house caught on fire. His house has been condemned and they lost everything except their lives, thankfully no one was in the home when this occurred. Their pets, however, did not make it out. This loving father and two sons lost everything except the clothes on their backs last night. Any donation is greatly appreciated as they now have to find a new place to live and replace all their possessions.

Jeff is a military veteran who has raised his 3 kids by himself and is an absolutely amazing dad to our son and my daughter that he loves as his own.
