For those wanting to send flowers or anything else. Please know we ask for donations to help Jeff last request and take his ashes to Broken Bow, Oklahoma Where it was close to home as he could get. And he loved to trout fish. He was a good man and a better husband and father.

For some time, my husband, Jeff Blanks has been battling renal cell carcinoma, which is kidney cancer. Jeff, myself (wife), our family, and our friends need your help so he can keep paying for medical bills, expenses, and treatments related to his journey in battling cancer.

At the age of 49, Jeff has recently had to make the decision to close his business. Jeff has worked and helped people in his community since his 20's, and the last 10 years, through his business, providing IT service to local small businesses and residents, including schools and the elderly. Many of his customers have become friends and part of his family which will be severely missed.

With his loss of income from the business closing, we need your generosity to help us through his tragic battle with cancer that his family and friends share with him. We thank you for any donation large or small, and we ask for prayers through the love of God. Jeff's battle is real, but he's not giving up.

To our friends, family, and wonderful community! I pray this reaches many more of you out there. Jeff has touched so many lives, and he is so thankful to everyone in his life whether near or far. We are so grateful to all of you.

In April 2019, Jeff had his right kidney removed due to kidney cancer. The surgery went well as expected. In the early months of 2022, Jeff started having Covid like symptoms. No fever, but chills, sweats, body aching and vomiting. It was November 6. 2022, that Jeff had been sick for over a week losing 10 lbs. and learning his cancer has returned. The doctor told Jeff not to waste any time.

Jeff was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma Stage 4 Kidney Cancer. Talk about the wind getting knocked out of you. The cancer has currently been found in his spine, ribs, tailbone, hip, arms, skull, liver and lymph nodes. To make matters worse, due to Jeff's will to work, he broke the humerus bone in his left arm twice in six months. His arm is now much better.

Jeff has been through multiple rounds of radiation. He has had three different chemo treatments due to side effects being too much for his body, or the chemo has been ineffective. When all this started he weighed 210 and now he's down to 160. If this next round of chemo is unsuccessful in treatment, his Oncologist has recommended we seek treatment through MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. Thus, another reason we are seeking your generosity for travel, hotel, and other expenses. Jeff is indeed a warrior and is fighting every day against the cancer, and he needs your help!
