Help Jeff Balogh with his Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
I am reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help Jeff Balogh and his family, and we need your help!
You may have heard that my best friend Jeff (more like a brother) was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in the last month. This comes after not being able to work the last 5 months due to symptoms that led to his diagnosis.
Jeff started chemotherapy this last week and this week he has suffered another setback, Jeff suffered a major stroke. We are so thankful for Jeff’s fighting spirit and the blessing of Jeff making it through the horrible ordeal, but he has a long road of recovery, more medical bills and on top of that, trying to continue chemotherapy to help combat the cancer to help prolong his life.
We all love Jeff because he has a fierce spirit, a loving husband, a loving father, and a great friend. He often gives up his own time to help friends or even friends of friends, sacrificing precious time he could be spending with his own family.
The effects of this illness are devastating his family, however. The painful chemotherapy treatments., which insurance will cover to a certain amount are expensive. They only have a low percent survival rate and low chances for full remission. But offer Jeff the opportunity to prolong his life to be with his family and friends. One other option for treatment which Jeff is a candidate for, is stem cell therapy, but that is going to be awfully expensive.
They could go to their bank and try to get a high-risk loan, for which they would have to mortgage their home for a second time. The payments would be overwhelming and not really an option, for the fact Jeff likely will not be able to return to work.
We cannot cure Jeff, but we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that the family is facing. Our goal is to raise the entire $50,000 for them, to pay the high medical expenses they have already occurred and that will continue to grow.
Please consider making as generous a gift as you can today or pledging to do so in the coming months toward our $50,000 fundraising goal.
Thank you,
Brock
P.S.: Please share this with your friends and family. Please take a minute right now and donate. Jeff and Wanda, who has given so much to their family and friends families over the years, truly needs our help!
