Help Jeff Arends Regain His Strength

Jeff Arends suffered an ischemic stroke in his cerebellum while at work, impacting the area of the brain responsible for coordination, balance, and movement. Thanks to a rapid response from those nearby, he was quickly transported to the ER, which helped prevent more serious consequences. Further testing revealed a PFO (patent foramen ovale), a small hole in the heart, which likely contributed to the stroke. Jeff is now showing notable improvement—his vision has returned, and despite ongoing dizziness, nausea, and balance issues, he has begun walking with assistance. His overall strength and health are expected to support his continued recovery.
