Jeffrey's family has organized this benefit to assist in raising funds to cover the medical bills and expenses incurred as a result of the accident and his subsequent inability to work. In August 2024, Jeffrey was involved in a collision between his motorcycle and a deer, which resulted in several severe injuries. The most critical injury occurred to his left hand while sliding on asphalt at high speed, resulting in laceration of multiple tendons and the removal of a substantial amount of skin. Over the past seven months, he has undergone six surgeries, which included multiple skin and tendon grafts, in an effort to restore function to his hand. These surgical procedures are both intricate and costly. It is indeed fortunate that he survived the incident, and he retains the use of his hand. Nevertheless, recovery has been exceedingly slow, despite his attendance at hand therapy sessions several times a week since the accident. It remains uncertain when he will be able to return to his profession in auto glass installation, and it is acknowledged that his hand will likely never regain full functionality.
