Friends of Jeffery Johnson are organizing this fundraiser.
Jeff and his wife Mary have raised four children in Roseville, all of which were involved in church and community activities in the area. Jeff himself has served as a committee member and Council President of Roseville Lutheran church and lent his amazing singing voice to church services. Beyond the church, Jeff has been a leader in the community by coaching youth sports, leading Scouting activities, and serving as chair of Northeast Youth and Family services. He went on to serve the city itself on the Roseville City Council.
During the last several years, Jeff has been hospitalized a number of times with kidney and liver problems, leading to more than one bout with Sepsis, a serious chain reaction infection that can damage internal organs. He and his family have fought through these health problems but ultimately, organ replacement became his best option for resuming a healthy life.
In April of this year, Jeff got the call and received a liver and kidney transplant. This miracle has saved his life and while grateful, he and his family are well aware of the terrible loss of a young person who donated these lifesaving organs.
Jeff is currently recovering in transitional care and has a very hopeful outlook. Mary and his children have devoted their time to his care and have been there at every step of Jeff’s recovery. His recovery, while truly miraculous, has been incredibly costly financially for the family. As friends of Jeff, we appreciate all he has done for the community. We ask that you consider a donation to help Jeff and his family with this financial burden and celebrate with us in his continued improvement.
