My rescue dog Jeff recently got diagnosed with Valley Fever and Lyme disease. He's a Great Pyrenees that was originally rescued from an abusive situation in Tonopah, AZ. He's only 3 and has been through more than any dog should've gone through. He'd lost his 2nd home when his dad died unexpectedly and was living in an RV with several other pets and people. I was still in debt from my last 2 rescue dogs who had some extensive medical bills, but I couldn't say no to Jeffy. He's one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever know. I could tell something wasn't right though. He was lethargic and kept vomiting after his meals.
After a couple of vet visits trying to figure out what was going on, I was so sad to learn he had not only Valley Fever but also Lyme Disease. While living in the RV, his temporary family had been in the Ozarks where Jeff had been bitten 100s of ticks. He loves life though and isn't willing to give up. We'd really appreciate your help in this fight.
The reason my situation is so dire is because I also got Valley Fever and wasn't able to work for awhile. Around the same time I had a major roof leak that caused interior damage. It still hasn't been repaired. My 2-year-old washer and some older appliances all broke around the same time too. I tried to save money by getting repairs instead of buying new stuff but the repair guy ended up being a scam.
I'm living as frugally as possible and driving an 18-year-old car that smells like an oil fire. I'm in a scary and precarious position and struggling to dig us out of this hole. Unfortunately Jeff was never much of a digger so I'm trying my best to figure it out on my own.
Anything you can do to help us in this fight is infinitely appreciated. If you can't afford to donate, please share with your friends and keep Jeff and I in your prayers.
Thank you very much!
Jeff says "woof woof woof," which I believe means I love you <3
