Help Jedi Walk Again: Support His Leg Surgery
Donation protected

I’m humbly reaching out today to ask for help giving our beloved dog, Jedi, the chance to walk and live like himself again. (Yes, he’s named after Star Wars Jedi, because he’s brave, loyal, and a little goofy in the best way.)
Jedi is a German Shepherd–Hound mix we rescued from our local animal shelter, and since the day we adopted him, our house has been filled love, energy, and a sense of comfort we never knew we needed. He’s is not just a dog, he’s a constant companion and a source of light in our home.
Before his injury, Jedi was full of life. He would race through the yard, leap up stairs, and run to greet us with his wagging tail. He was free, joyfully doing everything dogs are meant to do. But after his back leg got badly caught between two large rocks on a walk a few months ago, everything changed.
Since the injury, Jedi hasn’t been the same. He now critically limps, hopping around to move. He’s unable to run, climb stairs, or even walk comfortably like he used to. Watching Jedi struggle in chronic pain daily has been heartbreaking.
Jedi’s condition is so severe that a regular veterinary clinic can’t help him. The only option is surgery with a specialized orthopedic animal surgeon. We haven’t been able to afford this, as the estimated cost is around $7,500. All the funds we hope to raise will go toward covering this procedure.
We’re humbly asking for your support, as Jedi’s suffering continues every single day. Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this story, anything helps. We know that times are challenging for so many right now, and there’s no expectations. Your kindness, support, and generosity mean more to us than we can put into words.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading about Jedi. He has so much love left to give, and with your help, we can give him the chance to live a long, happy, and pain-free life.
