Hi, my name is Seth Seneca.

I'm making this GoFundMe page for my dad, Jed Seneca.

If you've been following him on Facebook, I'm sure you know he recently had a scare with his health, particularly his heart.

This was how he described it in a facebook post on February 23rd, 2023:

(Jed): "Hi all. Just want to thank you all for the support and prayers. I certainly felt them as I went through this ordeal last weekend. Thursday night late I started to have chest pains and I could feel my heart racing. After a few hours trying to figure out what was going on and shake it off, I had Claire drive me to the hospital. They did a Valsalva Maneuver which to their surprise, worked to reset my heart. Now 3 days later, I'm still groggy and weak a bit. They ran me through the wringer with tons of tests for 3 days in the hospital. Turns out, I have an issue with my heart but not cardio vascular. Diagnosis=Supraventricular Tachycardia heart rate. Simplifed-Its a short circuit in the electrical pulse generating side causing my rate to randomly go up by 100 or more BPM giving shortness of breath, chest pains, dizziness. I am now on meds but I will have to do a procedure to fix permanent. I guess I will be adjusting to this new way of life from now on. "
