Jessica ("Jecca") is the kind of person who lights up every room she enters. She’s a loving mom to her and Andrew’s beautiful daughter, Elliette, a passionate owner of two autism clinics where she pours her heart and soul into helping families and their children every single day, and a Girl Scout leader.
Now, at just 41 years old, Jecca is facing the toughest challenge of her life: Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) Grade 3, Stage 1 - a rare and aggressive form of the disease. To help Elliette - and herself and Andrew - process what’s ahead, Jecca has named this fight “The Epic Journey.” It’s a powerful way for her young daughter to see this not only as a challenge, but as a brave adventure her mom is taking on with strength and hope.
Her treatment will last about a year and will be intense, but she’s approaching it with determination, grace, and an unshakable belief in her healing. Even through treatment, she’s going to try to stay committed to running her Lake Norman clinic and opening a brand-new clinic in Statesville for as long as she’s able. She has an incredible support system across North Carolina, Florida, and Michigan, alongside Andrew and Elliette, ready to walk this road with her.
But love and strength alone can’t cover the heavy costs that come with cancer. From mounting medical bills to the daily expenses of raising a little one, the financial burden may become overwhelming.
Jecca has given so much of herself to her family, her students, her friends, and her community. Now it’s our turn to give back.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward easing the financial stress of treatment, allowing Jecca and her family to focus on what truly matters: her healing, Elliette’s peace of mind, and their time together during The Epic Journey.
Let’s surround Jecca and her family with love and support as she walks this road. Please donate if you’re able and share this campaign with anyone who would want to stand with Jecca in her Epic Journey.
