My name is Jason and Jean is my Aunt. It is because of her and my grandmother that I am also an EMT. Jean passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on her way home from duty in a roll over accident.

She is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 1 older sister, 3 older brothers, and one younger brother (my dad).

At the time of her death Jean remained the primary caregiver for her granddaughter Julianna and her son Josh who lives with low functioning Down’s Syndrome and will always need full time care. Unfortunately, little if any preparations for such an event were made leaving her daughter’s responsible for funeral costs and ongoing care of Josh and Julianna.

My hope is to use this campaign to pay for 100% of the funeral/medical cost and to help get Hannah into housing that can support the addition of two more family members. Following in our family’s medical field tradition, Hannah is an RN and doing her best to make things work. Let’s help set her and her family up for success in these difficult times.
