Help Jeannine Rebuild: Recovering From a Business Betrayal

Hello friends, family, and clients old and new of our dear friend Jeannine. I first want to tell you about the amazing human being that we are attempting to raise money for.

Jeannine Jay is a talented and multi-accredited dog trainer in Buffalo, New York. Jeannine has been the owner of Canine Sports Complex, Inc. for the past 15 years. She acts as director of the group, as well as the head trainer and Behavior Consultant. Jeannine has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology where she studied nonverbal communication. She is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant with IAABC as well as a Licensed Family Dog Mediator in both Sheltering and Behavior. She is also one of two Control Unleashed Certified Instructors in the WNY area. Recently, she has completed a Predation Substitution Trainer certification as well. Over the years, Jeannine has been able to help change the lives of dogs and their owners. She’s done this humbly and without asking for much in return, even training and helping others who are also interested in pursuing their passion as dog trainers along the way.

Recently, Jeannine was offered a position at a local business that sounded to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately, as good as this offer was, it was indeed too good to be true. After she closed shop at her building on Arthur Street in Buffalo, sent over her entire client list, and brought most of her equipment over to the new facility, she came to the conclusion that there had been not one but many broken promises. Some of these broken promises included the space she was offered to train her dogs, financial agreements and her position in the company due to the misinformation given to her and lack of communication she is unable to continue her business opportunity. Thus resulting in her being unable to continue her dog training and being unable to financially continue as she had spent a lot of time and money to get established with this new office.

What we’re asking for is help from anyone who is able. She is now going to have to endure the expense of moving and relocating her entire business, potential lawyer fees, and all of her equipment, all while being unable to continue her training and agility classes that she solely provided on for income.

Anyone who knows Jeannine knows she is a selfless and kind human being that would give you the shirt off her back. As someone who has witnessed her talent, abilities, and kindness, it is only right I try to help in any way possible.
