Jeannie's Healing Journey

For all of you that know and love Jeannie Stevens we are asking for your financial help.

Jeannie, who has suffered with bad back pain most of her life, took a turn for the worse recently and was admitted to the hospital for major back surgery! What was suppose to be a 3 day stay, turned into an unplanned trip to ICU when she suddenly became unresponsive. This required numerous unexpected tests and a full 7 day stay in the hospital! In addition, Jeannie requires extensive physical therapy after care, a caregiver and supplies to purchase ie: a walker ect. to help her through her recovery.

Jeannie, has been unable to work, surviving on her small disability income for the past 3 months while waiting for surgery. The doctor feels it will be at least an additional 3 months before she'll be back on her feet & able to work again. She was required to give the hospital a $5,000 deposit on her surgery, at a time when money was already extremely tight.

Most of you know Jeannie as a very vivacious and energetic person who LOVES hiking and walking on the beach more than anything! (family excluded of course) As her friends, we want to see her back up on her feet, smiling, happy and of course walking with ease. Any amount you can spare will help, as it all adds up.
