Hi, this fundraiser is to support my mom, Jeanne Long. Early October we found out she has stage 3, triple negative breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. Mom has to go through 24 weeks of chemo and then a double mastectomy, after surgery she will go through radiation to ensure that the cancer is gone.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help her with any bills, travel costs as well as some daily living costs. I do understand this is around the holiday season and money gets tight for some people, I would like to just take some stress off of her. My mom is unable to work unfortunately because of the numerous doctors visits as well as the chemo during the week. She also takes care of our grandmother.
My brothers and I appreciate everyone that has reached out volunteering to help with anything they can, help with rides & help with our grandmother as well. This doesn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate everyone that had helped with our breast cancer walk team, we made top 10 for donations.
