Help Jeanne Vicars Restore Her Vision

Hello family and friends!

We are trying to help our sister, Jeanne Velasco Vicars, with raising money for medical procedures. When the goal is reached, funds will be transferred to her account in the Philippines. Here is her story:

Last week of February, my eye sight started to decline, my right eye cannot see anymore since 2021, and now my left eye started to get really blurry. I went to 6 eye doctors who saw hemorrhage in my left eye, so I need first of all to get tests (angiogram and macular OCT), after which they can decide what eye surgery I need.

Since my eye lost 90% vision, I couldn't read. So my work as choir conductor was greatly affected. I couldn't read music, can barely see where I'm going. I have even gotten so disconnected from friends and family who I cannot read about or communicate with in Facebook and Messenger. It's also difficult now to do counseling which requires a lot of reading too. I do not recognize anyone anymore even if they stand right in front of me, I have to ask everyone to tell me who they are.

As I trust God for miracle healing, the Lord also reminded me of the miracle of provision and support. All my life i had tried to solve my problems on my own, but this time the Lord led me to humble myself and seek support. I believe as we help one another, the blessing of the Lord multiplies in all of our lives.

Funds raised will be used for the angiogram, macular OCT, eye surgery, and other expenses related to treatment.
