Hi everyone,

I am raising money for my grandmother, Jeanne Thompson, to help her with bills at home and any medical bills. If you know my grandma, you know she is not the type of person to ask for help. (Yes she knows I am doing this).

We know times are hard for everyone, but anything at all helps! Please if anything lots and lots of prayers!

Here’s her story:

In June of 2013, she had her first heart attack at the age of 57, to which she was put on blood thinners that caused internal bleeding.

In December of 2019, she found out she had stage 4 lung cancer, and in 2021 it spread to the brain. Now in 2025, she has been battling cancer for 6 years.

On Monday morning at 2:30, she woke me up telling me she wasn’t feeling good. I gave her her 2 emergency nitros (if you don’t know, those are commonly used for heart attacks). After her second nitro, we decided to bring her into the hospital. After about 2 hours, she was having the symptoms she was feeling at home. She was then given one more nitro and an EKG (it came back abnormal).

As of this morning, she has 5 blocked arteries. She had a heart catheter put in her arm. She was told there are a couple of options: open heart surgery/graft biopsy or more stents (5). With her having cancer, all of her doctors are coming up with a plan to help her best, so we don’t know which they are going to choose. I will do everything I can to keep this updated!
