Hi, my name is Jeanne Brubaker. I am asking for help to recover from a spinal cord injury that caused me to become partially paralyzed and quadriplegic in February, 2023. Since then, I have amassed huge medical expenses: I've been in and out of the hospital 4 different times; I've been driving to San Jose from Santa Cruz for physical and occupational therapy; I've needed 24-hour caregiving in my home. The caregiving expenses, in particular, have depleted my life savings.

After just 7 months since my injury, my savings are almost gone, funds that were originally intended for my retirement. Now I am in a real financial bind. While I am slowly regaining movement little by little, I continue to need 24-hour in-home caregiving. I'm putting the word out to friends, family, and colleagues for donations to help me with this stressful situation.
