Help JeanMarie’s medical emergency fund

It is hard to write this letter. My family has always possessed a tremendous amount of pride and worked hard for everything we have. However, the last year has been extremely difficult without health insurance as my wife has been suffering from a serious medical condition that was undiagnosed until recently. She is a hard working mother of five who always puts other’s needs ahead of her own. This is one of the traits that make her such an amazing CNA , wife and mother. Unfortunately that means she has suffered through extreme pain every day for over a year and toughed it out because her income contributes to half of our living expenses. Every day she busts her ass to take care of others while quietly enduring an increasing amount of pain. She has been diagnosed with hydrosalpinx, adenomyosis and tumors that are causing the pain and growing as time passes. We couldn’t afford the surgery but her doctor insists that it has to happen, immediately. She will require a hysterectomy and ongoing treatment to get healthy. She will be out of work for at least 6-8 weeks while recovering. The surgery, treatments and missed work will create a serious financial hardship for our family but it must happen not just for her quality of life but her survival. Our family would be eternally grateful for those of you who are able to contribute to this fundraiser and help us get through this difficult time.
