Help Jeanine & Peter Gleason Kick Cancer
Donation protected
Many of you have heard by now that our friend Jeanine has breast cancer. This is what she has shared so far:
"Sometimes you can get breast cancer when you are only 34. Sometimes you can eat all local, organic, and home grown foods, skip fast food and still get breast cancer. Sometimes you can breast feed your child for 2 years and still get breast cancer. Sometimes you can use all natural cosmetics and personal care products, skip perfumes and harmful chemicals and still get breast cancer. Sometimes it takes the 5th doctor you see to take you seriously enough to recognize that you have breast cancer. Sometimes it’s up to you to fight to be heard and take charge of your own life. Please never accept when your care provider says “hm, this is odd. Let’s see if it clears up.”
I showed signs of breast cancer this past summer and saw a Dr. He was not concerned, so I wasn’t either. Neither were the 3 others after him. After many months with no resolution of what I thought was a plugged milk duct, I decided on my own to see a specialist. SHE knew within the first 5 minutes of my visit. She ordered a STAT biopsy that confirmed her suspicion.
Because a few have asked, this is what you can do:
Pray for healing, patience, and for the cancer to not be invasive. Please pray for my sweet little boy who will have to cope with some transitions and for my sweet husband who will have to care for all of us. Please pray for financial resources, as we will max out our 2019 and 2020 insurance back-to-back."
Let's show the Gleason's some tangible financial love
