Help Jean Replace Her HVAC System

Hello. My name is Jean, and before I begin explaining my need for help, I want you to know before I decided to come this route I exhausted other means to help my situation to no avail. I am a recent widow and before I became such my husband and I did many upgrades to the home such as a new roof , water heater, etc. so I would not have to be burdened with this after his passing. Years before we took out a policy with our power company to cover heating/air conditioning in the event the hvac unit had an issue. Needless to say, it recently quit working. I felt confident it would be repaired because I had the power company policy. The representative came out stating it was the compressor and contacted them for authorization. It was a shock and surprise to both of us when I was told the compressor was not covered under the plan. I was devastated. I was also told that because of the age of the unit, 19 years, it would be difficult to get parts and my only choice was to put in a new unit. I have checked with three other companies to get their opinion and they agree. Hence, here I am, a senior who still maintains a full time job to pay my late husband's medical bills and provide for my daily needs but with no additional means to replace the hvac system. And for this reason I am reaching out asking for help. Any amount would be truly appreciated and I'd like to thank you in advance.
