As many of you know, there was a massive garage fire on January 30, 2025 at the farm in Lakeville where my sister, Jean Kingsbury-Conway, used to live with the love of her life, her husband, Art Conway. Art passed away a year ago on February 17th. The garage burned to the ground. Those of you who know Jean, know that she has a passion for creativity and expresses it through many forms of art. Jean kept her art studio in one section of the garage. She lost everything - her kiln, her art supplies, most of her own artwork, etc. Everything was a total loss. She just found out that there wasn't any "contents" insurance on the garage - just the structure itself. She is devastated as she thought the insurance would cover everything. I decided to start a GoFundMe for her to help her recoup some of her art supplies so she can continue to shine her creative light with her students. There are two ways to help Jean. Donate directly to this GoFundMe OR Luke Adams Glass has graciously offered to donate 100% of the profit from their Giving Pumpkin. There are still good people in the world!
