Help Jean (mom) with her vet bills

Last week my mom’s sweet little corgi, Fern, chewed up a soft toy and ingested some of the material. She started throwing up and stopped eating. We brought her to our local vet in Ptown and after x-rays they said she probably had a blockage and we had to travel to Bourne to Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists. They did an ultrasound and found that she did have a blockage and some of the material was wrapped around her intestines. They had to perform emergency surgery immediately.

After all was said and done she got the vet bill and it was almost $8000! Well mom is retired and living on a fixed income. My siblings and I helped as much as we could but it’s been a tough year financially and so I’m reaching out for help.

If you can spare even a little to help Jean out it would be amazing. I’m hoping to take a little of the burden off her (even tho I’m sure she’s gonna be mad I did this!)
