Hi, I am a friends of Jeans, last Saturday a group of Jeans friends that regularly cruise together had just passed the security checkpoint to board the ship and Jean said she didn’t feel good and she wanted a wheelchair. We got her a wheelchair but she progressively got worse and began showing signs of a stroke. The ships Dr’s came to check her and called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital in Long Beach CA. They were able to get her the necessary medication and performed surgery to remove a blood clot from her brain. The Drs performed additional tests to determine what caused the clot and found a tumor in her heart. She is scheduled for open heart surgery Friday and Saturday and will have a long road of recovery. As most of you know Jean is in the travel Industry which has been heard hit by covid already and she has not made her normal I come throughout covid. This go fund is to help her with medical and living expenses while she recovers.
