Hello friends, family and strangers my name is Tammy.

My mom Jean was diagnosed with lung cancer in June. She lives in a small town in Tennessee where it can be difficult getting the best care. We as a family have decided it would be best for her to go to the University of Maryland Medical Center for her treatments.

As we all know that when we get sick the bills continue to come in on top of the extra expense of co-pays, travel, lodging and anything else that may come up. And the loss of income is an added stress.

Mom will have radiation 5 days a week and chemo 1 day a week for 6 weeks.

We normally do not put our personal business out there for the world to see and we most definitely do not make it a habit to ask for help. But, I guess there is a first time for everything.

Due to these circumstances we are asking for any donations to help cover expenses she may have during this time. This is the time for her to focus on herself and fight this battle.
