Hi ik ben Grace en ik heb een droom! Met alle huidige klimaatproblematiek wereldwijd voel ik de urgentie om iets bij te dragen aan een duurzame toekomst. Een toekomst waar we op een andere manier omgaan met onze omgeving. Waar we inzien hoe we onderdeel uitmaken van de natuur en niet het domineren.

Ik wil een plek creëren waar ik mensen kan helpen om deze relatie met hun omgeving te helen en daarmee ook hunzelf. Dit zal ik doen doen door middel van retraites en workshops die natuureducatie, kunst, cultuur en spiritualiteit samenbrengt. Ik inspireer graag de nieuwe generaties om te beginnen bij de wortel van die duurzame toekomst, maar dit is toegankelijk voor iedereen lokaal en internationaal!

Dit wil ik allemaal doen waar mijn eigen wortels ook liggen, in Suriname. Ik ben hier nu een tijdje en heb verschillende plekken bekeken waar ik dit zou kunnen doen. Ik heb nu een prachtplek gevonden waar ik dit zou kunnen realiseren!

Ik heb op het moment niet de financiële middelen om alles hiervoor zelf aan te schaffen, maar ik hoop dat mijn netwerk me wellicht kan helpen. Help je mee om mijn droom te realiseren en zo een regeneratieve toekomst te bouwen op deze plek vol bijzondere geschiedenis?

Will you help me realise my dream of healing people and their relationship with nature on my new piece of land?

Hi, I’m Grace and I have a dream! With all the current climate challenges around the world, I feel the urgency to contribute to a regenerative future. A future in which we interact with our environment in a different way—one where we recognise that we are part of nature, not here to dominate it.

I want to create a place where I can help people heal their relationship with their surroundings, and in doing so, heal themselves. I plan to do this through retreats and workshops that bring together nature education, art, culture, and spirituality. I love inspiring younger generations to start at the roots of that sustainable future, but the space will be open to everyone, both locally and internationally!

I want to build all of this in Suriname, where my own roots lie as well. I’ve been here for a while now, exploring different locations where this dream could come to life. And I’ve finally found a beautiful place where I can create it.

At the moment, I don’t have the financial means to acquire everything that is needed on my own, but I’m hopeful that my network might be willing to help. Will you support me in realising my dream and in building a regenerative future on this land full of special history?
