Help JD's Heart: Support Kacia & Striker

Family & friends-

As most of you may know, my sister Kacia & brother-in-law Striker were expecting their second child, my nephew JD. While his expected appearance was not until June 3rd, this sweet boy had other plans, and just after 8 pm on 5/22, my sister gave birth to a perfect little boy.

Unfortunately, we discovered very abruptly that JD has a heart condition called Ebstein Anomaly. JD is currently on a vent to help his body not overwork itself while trying to get answers. His sweet mama has not gotten to hold him since delivery. JD was transported by helicopter and is making his way to MUSC in Charleston to be evaluated by a specialty team for a better understanding; at this point, we can expect him to undergo heart surgery. I am putting together this fundraiser to help eliminate the financial stress of having their baby boy 3 hours away from home to help with fuel, food, postpartum care, and anything this babe may need.
