Help JD WolfRobe and Louise Find Safe Housing

Good Day!

My name is JD WolfRobe and I am an Artist, Live Looper of Ethnic Instruments and Freelancer in Los Angeles. My Elder Mom, Louise, & I were recently evicted from our Home of 28 years after a Multi-Million Dollar Corporation bought our building two years ago that we lived & managed since we moved in the 90s. Immediately after the Sheriff busted the door open my Mom had heart palpitations and had to go to the ER. They recently found two blood clots, one in the heart and one in the arm. She is in need of more surgery and treatment for pain in her stomach that has been exacerbated since these proceedings have begun. She additionally still needs Rehab to get back on her feet.

     I am in need of a Safe Permanent Space for her and myself to heal and get the proper at-home treatment so she can be active again. Being in permanent housing would allow me to be able to get back to working since I have lost work having to care for my mom and handle legal proceedings after our attorney dropped us without explanation. My goal is to raise $15,000 which would go towards securing a long term housing for my Mom & I. 

        

     Since the Eviction I have had to deal with additional challenges such as the landlord not following the law and giving us the proper amount of time to remove our things, parking tickets, water leaks from rain in our storage unit which damaged our belongings the day after we moved in, which still has yet to be repaired and the company is still not liable for.  I exhausted my resources from being able to move into another storage facility at this time. *There is currently another storm coming and I have to spend more resources to protect the rest of our belongings. I have spent hundreds of dollars on gas driving around LA to move things to our storage, visit my Mom in the hospital and seek help on various leads which have currently not led to stable housing. 

There is not any program that I am aware of that can help individuals in the uniqueness of our situation and all most shelters I have looked into have a 2-4 month waiting period  and so I am placing this call out for support from my online community.

Any financial support will be honored and sincerely appreciated during this most precarious situation I am determined to overcome. I am reminded from my Spiritual Teacher and Adopted Uncle, Michael Tamura, the power of Faith and the importance of Living the Miracle. That Each One of Us has something to give, share and show up with that can have a significant impact on another. Even if you are not able to contribute to this campaign, just sharing this with another you are fulfilling that mission of the Creator's Master plan. Peace & Happiness for everyone.
