We are gathering donations for a family that lost their home in the Three Rivers tornado on 3/6/26. JD Henderson and Amber Larkin, along with their four boys (under 8 years old) and their 2 cats, moved in with Amber's senior citizen Nana to help her with daily care this past summer. The tornado has taken part of their shared home and rendered the rest uninhabitable. Insurance funds will be used to get Nana into a place to live that will be able to care for her, but unfortunately, there will not be enough to do that and secure new housing for JD, Amber, and their sons (the youngest of which is only 1). At this time, we are gathering funds to help them through this tough time, as well as towards new housing and replacement items.

We would appreciate monetary donations made here or sent directly to Amber. We will update when they are into a new home and need physical items. Volunteers are needed to help with the remnants of their home and belongings. Any leads on a home available for them would be greatly appreciated. (Preferably within reasonable driving distance to Vicksburg)

Another way to help would be donations made to Paw Paw Veterinary Clinic, where their cats are currently being boarded and cared for until new housing is secured.
